Plants produce bushy clumps of thick, leathery evergreen leaves. Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup-shaped blooms. This strain features flowers in shades of creamy yellow, often with contrasting spots on the inside of the blooms. Site these where they will stay for many years, since the plants resent being disturbed. Trim the old leaves to the ground in late winter before the buds emerge, to allow the flowers maximum impact.
