Plant number: 1.255.580(='HGP02') An absolutely wonderful introduction from Britain, this sturdy hybrid forms a low mound of leathery evergreen leaves and flowers the first year. Large, outfacing, single white flowers, held high above the foliage, appear in early spring and gradually age to pink and red. Avoid doing any pruning other than to remove dead leaves or stems down near the base of the plant. Quite possibly hardy to Zone 5 or colder.
