Gaura lindheimeri Passionate Blush™
Plant number: 1.224.170(='SME-2') This compact selection has both attractive foliage and flowers. It forms a bushy mound of leaves, edged red in spring then later becoming solid green. Wands of small silky blooms appear for months on end, in a lovely combination of soft-pink and white. Excellent in containers or along the front to middle of a sunny border. Needs good drainage. Bred and introduced by Steve Eggleton of New Zealand. USPP#17293: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF. Note that botanists have recently reclassified and named this species Oenothera lindheimeri.
