Gaura lindheimeri ‘Cherry Brandy’
Plant number: 1.224.250This compact selection is an ideal size for containers, edging or in the rock garden. Plants form a low mound of bronzy leaves, taller stems form deep pink buds that open into soft pink blooms produced for months on end. In the breeze these move constantly, looking like a cloud of small butterflies. Although Gaura may not always winter reliably, plants flower for the entire summer and fall, so consider using this as an annual in cold winter regions. Plants must have excellent drainage to survive the winter. Heat and drought tolerant. USPP#14581: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Note that botanists have recently reclassified and named this species Oenothera lindheimeri.
