This strain has flowers in a range of shades from pink to magenta-red. Stems are upright, and nice for cutting. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. Prune back hard after blooming, and plants may flower a second time in the fall. Should be divided every 2 to 3 years in early spring. Not terribly tolerant of hot humid summers.
