Osmunda claytoniana

It forms an upright mound of green sterile fronds, oddly interrupted by jet-black fertile fronds partway up the stem. The fronds are an attractive light-green colour, and are nice additions to cut flower arrangements. Adapts well to garden conditions, even in direct sun with plenty of moisture.
