They form low, fleshy rosettes of tough evergreen leaves, bearing large star-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer. This selection features large star-shaped flowers of lovely apricot-peach, kissed with soft yellow. Best in a cool rock garden setting, with excellent drainage. Excellent in rock walls, gravel screes or alpine troughs. In hot summer climates these do best with partial shade. Sure death is to try and grow Lewisia in average border conditions.
