Plant number: 1.316.550A remarkable British selection, introduced in the 1960s but lost for many years until it was rediscovered in an Irish garden. This produces shaggy double white daisies with a centre of shorter creamy-yellow petals. Stems are fairly tall, strong and excellent for cutting. Ideal for a sunny border. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming time. Shasta Daisy is a well-behaved garden hybrid, and should not be confused with the weedy Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare).
