Heucherella ‘Sunspot’

Foamy Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.268.250

A hybrid between Coral Bells and Foam Flower, combining the best traits of both into one plant. This bright and colourful selection forms a low mound of lobed chartreuse-yellow leaves with contrasting beet-red markings. Short spikes of pink flowers appear in early summer. Plants seem to scorch with direct exposure to hot afternoon sun, so plant this where it receives afternoon shade or all-day dappled shade. Nice choice for the woodland garden, or for edging in a shady perennial border or rock garden. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any brown or tired-looking leaves. USPP#14825: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
