Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup-shaped blooms. This Lenten Rose has pure white flowers above attractive marbled foliage. Site these where they will stay for many years, since the plants resent being disturbed. Trim the old leaves to the ground in late winter before the buds emerge, to allow the flowers maximum impact.
