Very tall stems are clothed in long, drooping green leaves, sometimes said to look like a giant asparagus fern. Large golden-yellow daisies are produced in the autumn. Flowers and foliage are both excellent for cutting. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Stems sometimes require support to prevent flopping.
