It forms a trailing mat of fresh green grassy foliage, with big upfacing trumpet-shaped blooms in the most amazing shades of true blue. Requires evenly moist, acidic soil. Moderately easy to grow, but best in a rock garden, gravel scree or alpine trough. Clumps may be easily divided in spring. Give afternoon shade in warm summer regions.
