Border Pinks have been popular in gardens for centuries. This selection forms a low cushion of grassy blue-green foliage. Fragrant double flowers have cherry-red petals stained with ruby, then delicately edged in white. An excellent addition to the sunny rock garden, alpine trough and for edging. Plants require good drainage and are an excellent choice for hot dry sites or gravelly soils. Trim lightly after blooming to maintain a tight, compact mound.
