Plant number: 1.172.800(Formerly known as Peltiphyllum peltatum) An interesting waterside plant with huge round, lobed leaves that form a wide clump. Clusters of soft pink flowers appear on stalks before the leaves in early spring, and are very unusual for cutting. In appearance this is a little like a miniature Gunnera., but much hardier. Native to the western USA. Must have moist soil. In hot, humid regions, choose a partly shaded site to prevent the leaves from scorching. May be divided in early fall. Further details for |
