This selection forms a beautiful bushy mound of green leaves, boldly edged in bright yellow. Clusters of rich blue flowers are a dramatic contrast in late summer and are attractive to butterflies. Although actually a woody shrub, Bluebeard is usually cut back each spring to 6 inches and treated more like a perennial. Discovered by Peter van Delft at West End Nursery in the UK, as a sport of ‘Kew Blue'. USPP#15935: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
