Primula ‘Kinlough Beauty’

Polyantha Primrose

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.445.540

This is an exceptionally hardy Primrose. Plants produce loose clusters of rose-pink yellow eyed flowers, held above the green foliage mound. This is easy to grow, and puts on a tremendous show in the spring garden. Choose a moist, shady spot free from vigorous tree roots. Primroses combine well with other shade-loving plants, such as Hostas or ferns. To maintain plant vigour, divide these very two to three years or so, after blooming. Will tolerate full sun in cool summer regions, provided with a constantly moist site. An old Irish selection of historical interest.
