Dianthus caryophyllus ‘Raspberry Ripple’

Hardy Carnation

USDA Zone: 6-10

Plant number: 1.180.990

This remarkable selection has deliciously fragrant flowers, the double white petals splashed brightly with red and also fringed along their edges, a style known as picotee. It forms a midsized mound of grassy blue-green leaves. Excellent for cutting. Good drainage is essential for winter hardiness. Evergreen. Remove faded blooms to encourage more buds. Plants perform best in areas with cool summers. Divide clumps every second spring, or plant new ones to maintain vigour. Evergreen.
