Calamintha nepeta ssp. nepeta ‘Blue Cloud’

Dwarf Calamint

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.108.160

A low, mounding selection with a very long display of airy soft-blue flowers that appear from midsummer until frost. Terrific for edging a border or growing along a pathway. Also excellent in containers. Flowers are attractive to butterflies. Foliage has a delightful minty fragrance. Easy and reliable, this does not spread around like regular mint. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. In regions with hot and humid summers this sometimes benefits from a hard clip back in late July, to rejuvenate. Tolerates both dry and moist soils.
