Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with literally hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form a sturdy mound of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This medum-large selection features leaves with a dark green border, pure white centre, divided by splashes of yellow. Fragrant lavender flowers appear in midsummer amd may attract hummingbirds. Good substance and vigor. Suitable for planting in mixed containers and tubs. Hosta go completely dormant in the fall, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring.
