Hosta ‘Lakeside Dragonfly’

Hosta

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.700.510

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with literally hundreds of varieties now readily available. They form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This medium selection has green, broad lance-shaped leaves with wide, irregular, white margins. Large tubular, pale-lavender flowers make an appearance in late summer. Flowers attract hummingbirds. Great for edging. Suitable also for planting in mixed containers or tubs. Hosta go completely dormant in fall, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before spring. Easily divided in either spring or fall, but plants may be left alone for years.
