Echinacea ‘Little Annie’

Miniature Coneflower

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.650.740

This selection of the ever-popular coneflower is a true miniature. Masses of bright, lavender-pink, tiny, daisy-like blossoms and tiny green leaves appear on strong stems mid to late summer. Maximum height is 30cm (12 inches) so ideal for edging a sunny border, especially when mass planted, small gardens, in containers and even fairy gardens. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Removing faded flowers will encourage longer bloom. Leaving some spent blooms on the plant in the fall will provide food for wintering birds. Dried seed heads also add interest to the winter garden. A seedling from E. ‘Kim’s Knee High'. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
