Veronica austriaca ‘Crater Lake Blue’

Austrian Speedwell

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.540.030

Several kinds of Speedwell are well suited to the rock garden, or for edging in the sunny border. This selection forms a low clump of bright-green leaves, loaded with short spikes of flowers in the most intense shade of gentian-blue. Clumps should be cut back hard after blooming, to maintain a low habit for the summer. Stems are just long enough to be useful for cutting. Plants may be easily divided in early spring or fall.
