Thalictrum kiusianum

Dwarf Meadow-rue

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.513.250

Meadow-rue is an exceptionally beautiful perennial that thrives in a moist woodland setting. Plants have delicate, lacy foliage a little bit like a Columbine or Maidenhair Fern in effect. This miniature species has petals of delicate lilac-mauve, appearing throughout the summer over an slowly spreading mound of deep green leaves. Happiest in a lightly shaded rock garden, away from the competition of tree roots. Also well suited to growing in mixed containers, or alpine troughs. Water during summer drought. Easily divided in early spring, every 3 to 4 years.
