Heucherella alba ‘Rosalie’
Foamy Bells |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.268.170
A hybrid between Coral Bells and Foam Flower, combining the best traits of both into one plant. This Canadian selection forms a low mound of bright green leaves with a bronzy centre, bearing upright sprays of delicate rose-pink flowers for several weeks. Nice choice for the woodland garden, or for edging in a shady perennial border or rock garden. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any brown or tired-looking leaves. Registered with COPF: royalty required for propagation.
