False Sunflower |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.255.140
('Hohlspiegel' = Concave Mirror) False Sunflowers are reliable for their very long season of bloom. Plants form a tall, bushy clump of dark green leaves, bearing branching heads of large golden-yellow daisy flowers, single in this outstanding German selection. Outstanding cut flowers. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly extend the blooming season. May require staking, particularly when grown in very rich garden soil. Easily divided in early spring. Easy and always rewarding. A selection of one of our native wildflowers. Attractive to butterflies.
