Geranium pratense ‘Splish-splash’
Meadow Cranesbill |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.230.920
The perennial Cranesbills include a number of plants that are excellent for massing in the border or woodland garden. This selection forms a mound of deeply cut green leaves, bearing clusters of white flowers mottled and streaked with rich violet purple. The leaves can develop good orange to flame-red fall colour. Trim back to 4 inches after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Easily divided in spring or fall. Some of the seedlings that appear may show the same flower colouration, while others revert to solid violet blue.
