Geranium ‘Brookside’

Cranesbill Geranium

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.230.770

The Border selections of Cranesbill Geranium are valuable fillers for colour in early to mid summer. This long-flowering hybrid forms a sprawling mound of deeply-cut green foliage, bearing large cup-shaped violet-blue flowers with a white eye. Plants may need to be cut back hard after blooming to encourage fresh new foliage. Appreciates a moist site. Easily divided in spring or fall. Rates highly as one of the best newer blue selections. Received a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (2004).
