Geranium sanguineum

Bloody Cranesbill

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.230.200

The shorter selections of Cranesbill Geranium are valuable edging or rock garden plants. This species forms a bushy mound of fine-textured green foliage, bearing a bright display of magenta-pink flowers in late spring, well into the summer. Plants stand up well to a wide range of soil and climate conditions, including hot, humid weather. Easily divided in spring or fall. One of the best choices for massed plantings, filling in quickly to create a bushy groundcover. Often shows good bronzy-red fall colour.
