The Border selections of Cranesbill Geranium are valuable fillers for colour in early to mid summer. This species forms a mound of bold green foliage, bearing large violet-blue flowers with a reddish cast. Plants need to be cut back hard after blooming to encourage fresh new foliage. Easily divided in spring or fall. Often has attractive red fall colour.
