The fragrant green foliage is heavily splashed with golden-yellow, forming a low evergreen mound. Spikes of violet-blue flowers appear in early summer. Excellent in mixed containers. May be wintered indoors in cold regions. Leaves may be used in cooking just the same as green-leaved Common Sage.
