Will also grow fine in tubs or containers, but in colder regions the plants may then need shelter for the winter. This dwarf selection from New Zealand has fragrant grey-green foliage and chubby spikes of deep purple-blue flowers. Excellent low, mounded habit. Prune lightly after the first flush of blooms to encourage a repeat round. Prune lightly in early spring, no harder than 4 inches.
