This award winner features blossoms that open flat and are large, velvety deep purple with a narrow gold signal on each petal. Excellent vigor. Bloom usually occurs from late spring to midsummer but varies by climate. Perfect at the waterside but also happy in a moist border. Require moisture to produce blooms so don't allow to dry out.
