Hemerocallis ‘Sabine Baur’

Daylily

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.259.590

Modern Daylilies are the product of many years of breeding work, resulting in freely blooming plants of the easiest garden culture. They form dense clumps of grassy foliage, with upright stems of trumpet flowers. This selection features cream flowers with ruffled edges and purple-violet eye zone. It is nocturnal meaning each blossom in the bud cluster opens at dusk and remains open overnight until it is 16 hours old the next morning. Mid season. Flowers are edible. After flowering remove spent blooms and seed pods to encourage rebloom and improve appearance. Remove dead foliage as they die back in the fall. May also be sold as H. ‘Sabine Bauer’.
