Large dangling bell-shaped blooms appear along the stems and to the tips in early summer, in a soft smoky lavender-blue shade. May be inclined to spread into a large patch in time, although this selection is said to spread more slowly than the species itself. Cut back hard after flowering to prevent self seeding.
